Choosing Upvc Window Replacement Hinges

It's not as difficult as it may seem to choose and fit the replacement hinges made of upvc. Make sure the arrows on the hinges face the right way and measure the thickness of the hinge arms on the opening frame (13mm or 17mm).

These hinges are compatible with conventional side-hung frames made of uPVC, or aluminium. They are equipped with an easy-to-use friction screw to adjust the amount of resistance generated. This allows for easier opening of the window and reduces the chance of a mishap during strong winds. They have been tested for over thirty thousand cycles, and they are compliant with British Standards approved BS EN 130126-6:2008 and BBA/Secured by Design.
