2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is an excellent choice for parents who are looking for a stroller that is versatile. It transforms from a stroller into a wagon by simply flipping the handle, which means parents can choose the option they want to use on their trip. The wagon can be used by one or two kids from 6 months old to 5 years old, and it comes with a large storage basket to accommodate everything you need on the go.

The Xplore has two canopies that can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell that is not as large or deep as some wagons, so it might not be comfortable for long excursions or for napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy however, it isn't able to bend like other wagons that we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competitors and it doesn't lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move however, and fits through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to lift into a trunk of a car or closet. It also has a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other key features include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

In our test of the push and turn it performed better than many of the other cheap single pushchair strollers we test, but it's not the most maneuverable on uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage, and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopies.

The Delta took us just over three minutes to assemble with an average manual and all of the components required tools. However, it's missing certain essential features that we think you should consider non-negotiable for a double stroller for example, a larger basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position and can also pivot. This is helpful when navigating rough terrain. While walking through the stony trail, we allowed them to swivel and it handled this fairly well, although it seemed more bumpy than the other models in our test.

It is a standout model with many unique features, such as the ability of the seat to be turned between the parent and the world as well as a large UPF50+ canopy, an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has a built-in suspension system that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made from tough foam and minimise punctures. Our tester found it smooth to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets without difficulty.

It also comes equipped with the ability to add a car seat or carrycot using the included adaptors. The brakes are only one action and are color coded. They also are compatible with flip-flops.

This budget single pushchair is surprisingly easy to maneuver and features great dual suspension, one-hand fold and a convenient carry strap. It's also super lightweight and robust. The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress that is suitable for babies.

The canopy/seat features two large fixed or flip-out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't perfect - it's not as silent as Velcro and may wake napping babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be set up to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be set so that they face each the other. They can also be set to face the parents. This should lessen sibling fights over who gets seated with dad and mom.
