iRobot Vacuum and Mop Combo Review

iRobot’s new Combo j7+ robot is the first combined vacuum and mop. It's akin to the Roomba and comes with the same rug-avoiding intelligence. However, the mops can be used with a greater selection of cleaning products and can self-fill.

A small robot arm emerges from the base when you command it to mop via the iRobot Home app or voice assistant. The robot will only deploy the mops when it is aware of a hard surface. They avoid dragging over rugs and carpet.

Features

A robot vacuum and mop combination is a useful tool to keep floors clean without the need for the use of a broom or a Swiffer. It removes sticky messes and keeps grime at bay, so you don't have to worry about the mess that builds in areas with high traffic levels like kitchens or mudrooms. The j7+ is a sleek modern-looking hybrid vacuum and mop. It's almost identical to Roomba's i7 vacuum. However, it lacks some key features other mop-only robots have. For instance, it doesn't have the same powerful suction that iRobot's vacuums have. It does not come with the automatic mop pad washing feature, which is increasingly common in premium mop robots.
