3 Wheel Double Buggy

Our tester Claire was impressed by the neat, easy-to-open packaging and deemed it to be to be one of the quickest and easiest pieces of baby gear to put together. She took it for a spin around some tough terrain and was thrilled with its performance.

Seats

It is a true all-terrain vehicle, with a soft suspension to make easy work of bumpy surfaces. It has 30 different seating options and a built-in board for older children who like to walk and a 'cinema mode' that raises the back seats to provide better visibility.

Alternately, the phil&teds dots is a brilliant single buggy from day 1 which is then able to take 2 (or 3!) in a variety of configurations. This is particularly useful for parents who have children in your car. The frame can be adapted to a wedgie, which allows for the best lie-flat position. Or car seat adapters that work with a wide range of brands.

Suspension

The quality of the suspension in a 3 wheel double buggy is essential to how it will be easy for you and your child to push. It is crucial to have a smooth ride, since babies feel every bump in the road. This is particularly true if you are driving on rough terrain, such as grass or roads that aren't paved. Some models come with locking front tires that help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.

Certain models come with air-filled tyres that are ideal for all-terrain riding, but they can be prone punctures. Be sure to keep a spare set of tyres in the trunk. Folding
